This blog features paying calls for fiction submissions, and occasionally non-fiction and poetry. I strive to ensure all submission calls are open to LGBTQIA characters and themes.

From Pride Publishing:
MM BDSM Anthology
Enter into a world where control, boundaries and punishment have never been so exciting. Where the only get out is provided by the all-important safeword. Demanding Doms and seductive subs are the order of the day here. These characters will stop at nothing to find and push their personal limits to teeter on that pivotal edge. MM pairing in the BDSM genre please, with the word count being between 10,000 to 15,000 and a burning or melting heat rating. The submission deadline for this is 30th November 2015 for a May 2016 release. Please send a synopsis in the first instance to firstname.lastname@example.org with the header Pride Anthology Submission.

My notes: I haven’t worked with Pride Publishing (an imprint of the Totally Entwined publishing group), but people who have tell me they’re very professional, have a good editing process, pleasant to work with, and payments are timely. They are based in the UK.

This blog is queer-friendly. I strive to ensure that all submission calls I post are open to works with queer/LGBTQIA characters and themes. I do this by checking the publisher's back catalog, submissions policies,or business practices, or by communicating with the publisher directly.
Please contact the publisher through the links in the post if you have questions about a submission call. Contact me if you've had a bad experience with a publisher featured here.
